No. InstaBooth runs entirely in your phone, tablet, or laptop browser at instabooth.pro — there's nothing to download or install. Open the link, allow camera access, and you're ready to take photos.

A native app is planned for the future, but it isn't required to use the full photobooth experience today. Everything — layouts, filters, editing, sharing, and email delivery — already works directly in the browser.

Basic templates are free forever and don't require an account — pick a layout and start shooting immediately.

Pro templates (₱5.00 in credits per use) unlock extra layout styles and require a free account.

Premium templates (₱10.00 in credits per use) include everything Pro does, plus special layouts like the Spotify Photostrip. Every new account also starts with 2 free Premium shots, so you can try the top tier before spending anything.

Credits are a pay-as-you-go balance you top up with real money in fixed amounts — for example ₱100 for 110 credits, with larger top-ups including a bonus (₱1,000 gets you 1,200 credits, a +200 bonus).

Credits are only deducted when you use a Pro or Premium template — Basic templates never touch your balance. Credits don't expire, and every top-up and spend is recorded in your account's credit ledger, which you can review any time you're logged in.

Credits are generally non-refundable once they've been spent on a template, since that credit already unlocked and delivered a photo.

If you believe you were charged in error — for example a top-up that didn't post correctly, or a duplicate charge — contact photo@instabooth.pro with your account email and we'll look into it.

For weddings, debuts, and other private events, InstaBooth offers a free/event mode that skips accounts and credits entirely. Contact us and we'll set up a private event with a unique access code plus custom layouts designed for your occasion.

Your guests visit the event page, enter the code, and can take unlimited photos with those layouts for free — no login, no per-photo charges. This is separate from the public Basic/Pro/Premium catalog and works well for a shared kiosk or tablet that many different guests will use throughout the night. You can save your photo straight to your device the moment it's ready, or have it emailed to you. Either way, InstaBooth doesn't keep a stored copy afterward — once your photo is emailed, it's deleted from our server, and any copy from a session that was never emailed or downloaded is automatically purged shortly after.

Downloading never touches our servers at all. This means your photo really only exists on your own device (and in your inbox) once your session ends, so keep that copy safe — we have no way to recover or re-send it later.

Yes — InstaBooth is designed to work on phones, tablets, and laptops alike, using whatever camera your device's browser has access to. You'll get the smoothest experience on a recent version of Chrome or Safari with camera permission granted.

On mobile, you can flip between front and rear cameras, and layouts adapt to fit your screen.

The Spotify Photostrip is a Premium layout that lets you search for a song and embed its scannable Spotify code right next to your photo strip — so anyone who scans it with their phone camera jumps straight to that track.

It's a popular choice for music-themed parties, debuts, and anniversary shoots where a song means something to the moment.

Not for Basic templates — anyone can use those immediately, no account required. You only need a free account to unlock Pro and Premium templates, since those are tied to your credit balance and free-shot allowance.
